Finally made it here thanks to the recent Dine LA promotion. This place lives up to the hype in all the important categories - food quality, service and ambiance are all top notch. Probably the best classy romantic cozy date vibes you can find anywhere. Our cocktails, appetizers, mains and desserts were full of flavor and perfectly prepared. A bit pricey, yes, but highly recommended.
They have a great ambience. You can go sit near the bar surrounded by books for an intimate convo with your best friend or sit in their cabana for date night. Either way, great dinner vibes here. Food was amazing too!
I absolutely adored this spot! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance set the perfect tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The staff treated me like royalty, making me feel like their top priority. But let's talk about the food--oh my goodness, it was divine! The burrata is an absolute masterpiece, and their pasta is nothing short of heavenly. We dined in an outdoor room that felt like something out of a fairytale, providing the perfect backdrop to enjoy each other's company. Trust me, make those reservations now! Would love to a go again to try other dishes.
I don't usually write reviews and if I do it's usually about a bad experience. This was a great experience the server Alex was amazing and she took really good care of us and was an exceptional waitress. Definitely coming back and when I do I'll ask for her as my waitress! Great experience 10/10!!!!!!
The outdoor sitting is very cozy and romantic. My favorite party is the hill and trees as a backdrop. The service is awesome. My waiter is very tentative. My only dislike is the main course "miso cod." It literally has no taste at all. Other than that, everything is perfect.
Beautiful place , food was amazing Love their Brunch Buffet and mimosas Staff extremely friendly and very knowledgeable of menu Overall epic place to visit
I love this place. Every time I come by the staff are always amazing and know how to take care of their guests. Izabella has always gone above and beyond to make sure that we're happy and feel at home. Thanks to her, Firefly has a long-term and permanent customer.
Lives up to it's name, a little pricey but would recommend for the taste and the ambiance. You definitely are getting an experience and thankfully the food is good. I tried the Mushroom Pasta (pappardelle) - quite tasty even as someone who usually likes meat over non-meat options. Steak Frites is very solid, can't go wrong. Side of mashed potatoes is AMAZING. Comes with sourcream and very very nice garlic. The horseradish creme and chives make it perfect... even as someone who isn't very health conscience, I was like wow this tastes so good and I'm just eating a crap ton of potatoes cause it tastes so good! Service is top notch as you might expect. Valet is convenient albeit an additional cost.
I really enjoyed this restaurant. It's perfect for a date night or small get together/special occasion dinner with friends. You could almost miss the restaurant when you first walk by as it is just a small door located on the side of a large bush but then, as if you crossed the bridge to Terabithia, you enter a bar space that connects to their dinner seating section. At first you see just the bar on the right and what appears to be a small library with more bar seating in the distance. Then you turn to the right from the library and you discover the rest of the restaurant, which has high ceilings, a sunroof, immaculate lighting, and a terrace-like seating area. It is unlike any other restaurant I've ever been to before and for that they get a lot of points! The food itself is good, not the best dinner I've ever had but definitely tasty and I could tell they use quality ingredients. We started with the baguette with butter which is a classic, I mean how could that not be good. We paired it with their meatballs which are made with a mixture of ground beef, pork, and veal, served in a savory San Marzano tomato gravy with Parmesan. The meatballs were super tender and flavorful and the gravy went very well with them. Loved having the baguette for dipping into the rest of the gravy. The Caesar salad was super good the lettuce was very fresh and tasted locally grown and it came with big cubes of homemade breadcrumbs. For the main, I had the Jidori chicken which came with mushrooms and sunchokes (had never tried these, very flavorful) and a rich savory sauce. I really enjoyed. The drinks were nice too, I tried the Pineapple Express and my friend had the Strawberry fields. Both very nice and refreshing. Will be back soon!
My follow-up visit: As before, we had a delightful evening at Firefly. The service was great and the food delicious. We had a friendly waiter ( sorry! I don't know his name). He was attentive, checked in periodically, and never rushed us. We were pleasantly surprised when the manager, Eric, came to our table to introduce himself and chat for a bit. This type of service is no longer the norm and is appreciated when it happens. This time we sat outside in the larger room at a high top, which was perfect. Enjoy the pics! We will be back again ( and again).
